Before & After: Making an Upper East Side Residence Shine
A dramatic before + after project that took this classic Upper East Side apartment's interior from dark and dated to bright and fresh.

We worked with the new owners of this incredible residence on Manhattan's Upper East Side to plan a redesign that spoke to their modern sense of style.
Before:
The previous styling of this residence certainly did feel lived-in, but the style was was dated, dark, and not taking full advantage of this home's architectural features. The new owners wanted to modernize the look and they envisioned a lighter, more illuminated space.
After:
Throughout the process of working with our clients, we are also getting a sense of their personality and how they want their space to reflect that. When a full interior redesign is requested, we present different ideas and options that work with the design elements of newly-finished spaces.
Spaces were made to look dramatically more open by highlighting the natural woodwork of the building; using white trim was key to brightening up the feeling of the entire home. This brightness, along with the key stylistic choices we made in collaboration with our client, helped to realize their vision for a modern residence.
The coolest and best part to any project is watching and executing the client's vision and watching how they express their individual style through this process. Seeing the client's delight as they had the final walk-through was priceless.
